ALLAHABAD: When Kayamuddin Ansari went to write his English exam in the Class XII board of Uttar Pradesh, he was shocked to get instead the question paper for Sanskrit. He then made a mistake: Ansari scribbled some ‘‘derogatory comments’’ against chief minister Mayawati and even issued a threat — all in the wrong answer sheet.
The UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education, which gave Ansari the wrong question paper, has now hit back. Ansari, a student of a Deoria inter college will no longer appear in an exam in the state. The board has cancelled his candidature and barred him from appearing in any future exams conducted by it, official sources said here on Wednesday. Two principals and five staffers have been suspended for leaking the incident to the media.
Ansari’s scribblings were noticed when answer sheets were being evaluated in Muzaffarnagar in April. When the board authorities came to know about it, they ordered a probe. Board sources told TOI that Shivkumar Yadav, deputy controller and principal of DAV Inter College evaluation centre, assistant controller Arun Jain and two teachers of the college — Dharampal and Satya Deo Sharma — were suspended.

What else could be expect from Mayawati? She is very proactive in taking such kind of action where her name is involved. But she is utter silent in case of atrocities on Dalits and OBCs in Uttar Pradesh and this is the reason in her tenure there has been increase in crime against Dalits in U.P.
