As part of the 5th Annual Career Fest in Mumbai, The Association of Muslim Professionals is holding an All India Essay Writing Competition for the AMP Members, Teachers and Students of recognized Schools / Colleges / Universities / Institutions on separate topics in respective category.
The Project Coordinator Ms. Rubina Firoz said that “Essay Writing is like studying your soul. Have you ever wondered why do Teachers and Professors give you this bunch of written assignments? Why can’t they ask you all that in an oral form? The answer is quite simple. When you write an essay – you learn to express yourself in a more logical way, and also you develop your writing skills, your vocabulary and your own writing style” Ms. Rubina stressed on the benefits of writing and said that “By writing essays you can grow to be a very talented and creative writer or speaker, or logical thinker or whatever. Writing develops you in many ways”.
The other Coordinator for the Competition Ms. Aasia Radiowala said while elaborating the need of this competition said that “The aim of the AMP National Essay Competition is to encourage writing on Community and National issues, among the Students of Schools / Colleges / Universities / Institutions and arouse their interest on fundamental issues pertaining to Community and Nation like Education, Welfare, Social Justice, National Integration, Communal Harmony etc. The students are expected to analyze and suggest ways and means to establish a stronger Social Democracy and a Welfare Society”.
Ms. Shazia Shaikh, The All India Essay Writing Competition Coordinator described the topics under different categories and explained the rules for the competition and given the following points.

Rules and Regulations:
1) The essays may be written in Urdu, Hindi and English.
2) Last Date: 2nd December 2012
3) The essay should be submitted on A4 size paper on one side and should contain around 3000 (three thousand) words.
4) The essay must be sent to the following address or on email: competition@ampindia.org

5) The essay must be original, not already published in any book, magazine and newspaper.
6) The prizes shall be presented on the occasion of AMP Career Fest 2012 on December 15th, 2012 by the Chief Guest.
7) A full list of winners would be placed on the websites of the Organization (www.ampindia.org) on 6th December 2012.

AMP President, Aamir Idrisi has urged the Vice Chancellors of all Universities, Teachers and Principals of Schools and Colleges, to encourage the students to participate in competition. Aamir Idrisi also appealed all AMP Members, Journalists and Writers to come up with the articles on different topics under the special categories for them.
